Stories We're Proud To Share
We’re a commercial business with a clear mission — but truth be told, what drives us most is the quiet satisfaction of doing great work. Our team is close-knit, client-obsessed, and far more motivated by a well-earned nod of appreciation than a bonus cheque. Here are a few moments that mattered — real-world outcomes that earned us a back slap and reminded us why we do what we do.
GLOBAL MANUFACTURING
We stepped in when an interim CISO was under pressure from the board as the firm was placed at risk of losing their biggest client due to unresolved DMARC issues. We delivered p=REJECT inside six weeks using RedSift—without impacting email traffic.
That short-term fix unlocked long-term trust: four years on, our advisory has delivered stack rationalisation and net-new capability at lower cost that includes SOCaaS that was simply not catered when we engaged.

QUIET WIN THAT REALLY MATTERS

UK CRITICAL NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE
A UK-based public sector CISO (Critical National Infrastructure) was referred to us when he expressed frustration over a bloated and underperforming security stack. He had a strong instinct that several tools were not delivering value—but lacked the internal data to justify major change.
We initiated a light-touch review using red-team exercises and an early-stage deployment of Cymulate’s Breach Attack Simulation platform. The results confirmed his suspicions: most tools were ineffective or misaligned with real-world threats. We cancelled all but one—renegotiating the latter at a more favourable rate.

GUT FEEL to PRECISION

With part of the recovered budget, the client opted to retain Cymulate for ongoing validation and added Commugen’s GRC automation platform to address compliance inefficiencies uncovered during our parallel risk review.
Today, this they enjoy real-time visibility on vendor efficacy, sharper internal reporting, and a leaner, higher-impact stack—all without exceeding previous spend.

UK CRITICAL NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE
A global logistics firm, already familiar with our advisory work, invited us to run a targeted red-team exercise across several EU entities — with a focus on password spraying. Their internal teams were frustrated by persistently weak practices and wanted hard evidence to drive cultural change.
We agreed to run the engagement — suggesting we also use the exercise as a catalyst to strengthen SOC capabilities. The red-team delivered the expected results (with some very clear “naming and shaming”), but it was the parallel SOC uplift that moved the needle most.

POSTURE UPLIFT THROUGH PRESSURE TESTING
Working alongside our preferred partner Chaleit — who bring not just tooling, but deep, hands-on guidance — we’re helped evolve the SOC from a basic defensive posture into a truly world-class, follow-the-sun capability. The difference? We’re not buying cold reports for delivery to our client in a leather binder. We’re buying interpretation, escalation paths, and the kind of analyst intuition that only comes from pride in doing hard things, well — whether during a test or in the heat of a real incident.
